MUSCAT: The initiative covers children eligible for Grade 1 enrolment and forms part of routine procedures linked to school registration and student health clearance.
According to the directorate, examinations will be conducted from July 6, 2026, during official working days, from 10 am onwards at their respective health institutions.
The directorate has instructed parents to bring original documents, including the child’s birth certificate, passport, health card and vaccination card, to facilitate the procedure.
The parent or guardian must also complete the medical examination form after the check-up is finished, in order to finalise registration through the education portal
