MUSCAT: According to the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), the case arose after a consumer contracted the company to undertake interior and exterior decoration works for a house. The consumer later filed a complaint with the CPA, alleging that the establishment had failed to execute the agreed services.
The court found both the establishment and its legal representative guilty of the misdemeanour of failing to provide the contracted service properly and in accordance with its nature.
The court imposed a fine of RO 500 and ordered the suspension of the execution of the penalties. It also directed the defendants to pay the legal expenses.
