CAIRO – The OCCI received the award during its participation in the Egyptian-Saudi International Franchise Exhibition, which concluded recently in Cairo, in appreciation for the chamber’s outstanding efforts in developing the franchise system in the Sultanate of Oman, enhancing the competitiveness of national brands and enabling companies to expand locally and regionally through an integrated system of quality programs and strategic partnerships.
During the event, two memoranda of cooperation and understanding were signed by Omani companies and their Egyptian counterparts. The memoranda are provided for cooperation in the fields of beekeeping, honey production and silverware.
The OCCI’s participation in the exhibition was in pursuance of its efforts to support the franchise system, enhance the presence of Omani brands in regional markets and to foster economic partnerships aimed to open up vistas for the Omani private sector in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to diversify the economy.
