MUSCAT – According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the incident prompted an emergency response in which police aviation carried out a medical evacuation of two Saudi nationals, while five injured individuals were transported by ambulances to Nizwa Hospital for treatment.
The accident involved multiple passengers travelling in the vehicle, with emergency teams responding to the scene to provide immediate medical assistance and secure the area.
The Royal Oman Police extended its condolences to the families of the deceased and urged motorists, particularly GCC visitors travelling to Dhofar Governorate, to strictly adhere to speed limits, ensure vehicles are roadworthy before long journeys, and avoid driving when tired or drowsy.
