KINSHASA – Officials said 473 people have died from the virus, as the outbreak continues to spread across eastern provinces, including Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu.
The latest figures were published shortly after the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that at least 452 deaths had been recorded, underscoring the rapidly escalating nature of the outbreak.
