WASHINGTON – According to police, an SUV stopped near a group of people on a city street before two individuals inside the vehicle opened fire, injuring 12 people, including four women.
All of the injured were transported to hospitals for treatment. Police established a security cordon around the scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Authorities have also initiated a large-scale manhunt to locate the two suspects, who fled the area immediately after the attack.
