MUSCAT – Among the agreements is a project to prepare studies and consultancy designs for the development of the industrial area in South Al Mabelah, in the Wilayat of Seeb. The project aims to establish an integrated development plan that includes upgrading the internal road network, improving infrastructure and public services, enhancing traffic safety, and beautifying the area through landscaping and urban enhancement works.
The municipality said the project is expected to support economic, commercial and industrial activities while creating a more efficient and sustainable business environment that keeps pace with urban growth.
Another agreement covers the construction of a public park opposite the Fun Zone shopping centre in Al Qurum, Wilayat of Bausher, in line with efforts to expand green spaces and provide modern recreational and community facilities.
The park will feature a shaded pedestrian walkway, expansive green areas, a multi-purpose interactive plaza and a panoramic café. The project will also incorporate a range of service and recreational facilities designed to meet the needs of different segments of society, while applying sustainability and environmental best practices.
Muscat Municipality also signed an agreement for the implementation of the Al Amerat Residential Park project. Inspired by Omani natural landscapes and valley topography, the park’s design incorporates elements of Omani architectural and cultural identity.
The project will provide an open and diverse recreational space for residents and visitors, featuring sports and leisure facilities as well as areas for social and cultural activities aimed at serving different age groups and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Muscat Municipality said the projects reflect its commitment to developing modern, efficient and sustainable urban environments through continued investment in infrastructure, public amenities and open spaces, supporting the governorate’s urban, economic and social development goals.
