KUWAIT : According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the attack struck vital infrastructure at the airport, prompting an immediate response from security and emergency authorities.
The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, said that several drones targeted Terminal 1 (T1), the airport’s main passenger terminal. The attack resulted in extensive material damage to parts of the building and disrupted normal operations.
Colonel Al-Atwan stated that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with relevant authorities. He affirmed that all security agencies remain on high alert and are fully prepared to address any developments.
