Kuwait: In a press release issued today, the Kuwaiti General Staff confirmed that the sounds of explosions heard in some areas were a result of the country’s air defense systems responding to and intercepting hostile aerial threats.
The statement noted that Kuwaiti air defenses had dealt with both missile attacks and hostile drones, without immediately providing further details on the source of the attacks or any potential damage.
“The sounds of explosions, if heard, are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks,” the statement said.
