MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a special royal pardon for 382 prisoners convicted in various cases, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).
The pardon includes a number of Omani citizens as well as foreign nationals who were serving prison sentences in different correctional institutions across the Sultanate of Oman.
The royal gesture comes on the occasion of Eid Al Adha for the year 1447 AH and reflects His Majesty’s continued humanitarian approach and keenness to support the families of inmates.
