Officials stated that the achievement highlights the efficiency of Oman’s national road safety policies and the leadership role played by the Royal Oman Police in implementing evidence-based traffic legislation and international best practices.
The ROP noted that the adoption of smart technologies, including AI-powered monitoring systems and advanced analytics, has contributed significantly to improving traffic flow, reducing accidents, and strengthening public safety across the Sultanate.
The recognition also underlines Oman’s growing international standing in the field of road safety innovation and reflects the country’s broader commitment to adopting modern technologies and collaborative approaches to enhance transportation security and infrastructure development.
