DOHA : The Omani shooters secured the medals during the ongoing Gulf Games being held in the Qatari capital from May 11 to 21, 2026.
Shooter Salem Al Hinai clinched the first bronze medal in the individual 10-metre pistol event after a solid display against some of the region’s top competitors.
The national team then added another bronze in the team category of the 10-metre pistol event through the trio of Salem Al Hinai, Sulaiman Al Rahbi, and Salem Al Shidi.

Oman’s third bronze medal came in the mixed doubles 10-metre pistol competition, where Salem Al Hinai teamed up with Nouf Al Saidi to secure a podium finish.
With the latest achievements, Oman’s national shooting team has now raised its overall tally in the tournament to two silver medals and four bronze medals.
