RIYADH : The Jeddah-based airline, a sister company of Saudia, announced that the new route will be operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft configured with 186 economy-class seats.
The move marks flyadeal’s first-ever destination in India as the airline looks to expand its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. The carrier has been operating for more than eight years and currently flies from Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Dammam to several regional and international destinations.
flyadeal Acting CEO Sanjiv Kapoor said Hyderabad is only the beginning of the airline’s India expansion plans, with another Indian destination expected to be announced soon.

He added that the airline aims to build on the longstanding presence of the Saudia Group in India through its sister airline Saudia, which has been operating services to the country since 1964.
