MUSCAT — Muqshin recorded the highest temperature in Oman over the past 24 hours at 43.6 degrees Celsius, according to data released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Haima and Mukhaizna followed closely with temperatures of 43.3°C, while Fahud and Yaaloni each registered 43.0°C, the authority said in its latest weather update on Saturday.
Other high temperatures included Hamra Ad Duru at 42.6°C, Al Rustaq and Al Mazyunah at 42.3°C, and Dima Wattayeen and Marmul at 42.2°C.

Al Mudhaibi recorded 42.1°C during the same period.
The readings were collected from meteorological stations operated by the Civil Aviation Authority across the Sultanate.
