MUSCAT: According to the forecast, moderate to brisk westerly and northwesterly winds will impact the northern governorates and Al Wusta Governorate, while moderate to strong southwesterly winds are expected along the Arabian Sea coastline.
The weather authority said the strongest effects are likely to be concentrated in desert and exposed areas, where blowing dust and sand could lead to reduced horizontal visibility.
Sea conditions are also expected to be moderate along the western coasts of Musandam Governorate and the Arabian Sea, with wave heights reaching up to two metres.
Meanwhile, the sea state along the coasts of the Sea of Oman is forecast to remain calm to moderate.
