MUSCAT – The municipality’s Al Qabil department said it has recently impounded a number of stray camels found roaming on roads, in a move designed to minimise traffic hazards and prevent accidents involving road users.
Authorities have urged camel owners to ensure their animals are properly managed and grazed only in designated areas, warning that failure to comply may result in legal accountability.
