MUSCAT – The discussions focused on enhancing joint coordination, supporting de-escalation efforts, and advancing political and diplomatic solutions to regional and international challenges. The talks also highlighted the importance of safeguarding maritime navigation, maintaining global trade and supply chains, and strengthening international cooperation on food security and sustainable development.
As part of the engagements, His Excellency Sayyid Badr met with His Excellency Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, and His Excellency Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Norway.
The Omani foreign minister also participated via video conference in a ministerial meeting on food security and supply chains jointly organised by the Italy and Croatia.

In separate calls, His Excellency Sayyid Badr held consultations with His Excellency Hakan Fidan of Türkiye, His Excellency Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi of Iran, and His Excellency Sergey Lavrov of the Russia.
He also spoke with Her Excellency Yvette Cooper of the United Kingdom, His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah of Kuwait, Her Excellency Annalena Baerbock of Germany, and His Excellency Dr. Badr Abdelatty of the Egypt.
