MUSCAT : During a telephone call with his German counterpart, H.E. Badr Al Busaidi underscored the importance of enhancing diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalation and resolving conflicts through peaceful means. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to international law, including the Law of the Sea, while emphasizing the need for dialogue as the primary path towards stability and security.
In a separate call with Russia’s Foreign Minister, discussions focused on the latest developments in the region and ways to prevent further escalation. The ministers highlighted the importance of political and consensual solutions to safeguard regional security and stability and to spare the region from additional tensions and repercussions.
