MUSCAT : Oman’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a telephone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi to discuss the latest developments in ongoing efforts to reach an agreement between Iran and the United States, according to state media.
The two ministers reviewed progress in negotiations related to Iran’s nuclear file and other outstanding issues, as well as regional developments, particularly those linked to maritime navigation and security in the Gulf.
They exchanged views on ways to contain tensions and prevent escalation, while emphasising the importance of dialogue and constructive engagement to advance a path toward mutual understanding.
