Oman temporarily halts new LPG filling station applications

Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion has announced a temporary suspension on applications to establish stations for filling and selling liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders across Oman.

MUSCAT : The ministry said the move will remain in place until further notice, adding that new investment opportunities in the sector will be announced as needed.

The decision applies to all governorates and will be implemented in line with existing regulations, controls, and procedural requirements governing the LPG distribution sector.
