MUSCAT – According to the alerts, active winds are forecast to begin at 8 am on April 28, 2026, impacting areas including Amerat, Bidbid, Dama Wal-Tai’yeen, Samail, Sur, Qurayat, as well as Al Buraimi Governorate, South Al Batinah, North Al Batinah, Wadi Bani Khalid, and Yanqul. The intensity of the winds has been classified as moderate.
A second warning indicates that dust storm conditions are expected from 12 pm the same day, affecting a wider inland belt that includes Adam, Ibra, Izki, Al Jazir, Al Hamra, Al Qabil, Al Wafi, Al Mudhaibi, Bidiyah, Bahla, Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Ibri, Mahawt, Manah, Nizwa, and Haima. These conditions are also expected to be of moderate intensity.
