MUSCAT – Firefighting teams from Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) responded to an accident involving the overturning of a tanker carrying hazardous materials in Al Buraimi Governorate, resulting in the death of the driver.
The CDAA stated that its emergency crews quickly secured the site and contained a leak from the tanker, preventing further risk to the surrounding area. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
