MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a phone call with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday to discuss rising tensions in the region and their potential security and economic implications, according to Oman News Agency.
During the call, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments and their impact on countries across the region, underscoring the need to safeguard stability and protect national interests.
They stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to ensure maritime security and the safe flow of navigation, amid growing concerns over disruptions to key shipping routes.
