MUSCAT : As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing training and employment opportunities for university and college students and graduates, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, is participating in the Career Fair organised by Sultan Qaboos University from 13 to 15 April 2026. The event brings together a distinguished group of organisations representing various sectors. The Bank invites students interested in exploring available career and training opportunities to visit its booth at the exhibition, held at the Grand Hall of the University Cultural Centre, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm throughout the three days.


The Career Fair aims to provide a wide range of training and employment opportunities for students and graduates, contributing to the development of their skills and enhancing their readiness to enter the job market. It also serves as an important platform for students who are in the process of selecting their academic specialisations, enabling them to gain insights into in-demand fields and the nature of related work environments. The event offers participating institutions a valuable opportunity to accelerate Omanisation plans through direct engagement with graduates from diverse academic backgrounds.
Bank Muscat is keen to participate annually in the Career Fair organised by the Career Guidance Centre at Sultan Qaboos University, recognising it as an interactive platform to connect with students and introduce them to available career opportunities. The Bank also showcases its recruitment and training policies, along with application procedures. In this context, Bank Muscat places significant emphasis on training and development programmes for its employees, implementing comprehensive annual training plans across all job levels. From the outset of their careers, employees are provided with continuous opportunities for professional growth, enabling them to perform their roles efficiently. These initiatives contribute to fostering a professional work environment based on equal opportunities, access to advanced technologies, and alignment with international best banking practices, thereby enhancing overall institutional performance. The Bank also takes pride in its talented Omani workforce occupying diverse roles across the organisation.
During 2025, Jadarah Academy organized over 1,000 training programmes where over 34,000 training seats were utilized, translating to 38,000 training man-days. More than 143 employees are currently enrolled in educational assistance programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at local colleges and universities. Additionally, 7 employees graduated from international scholarship programmes in 2025, while 8 others are currently pursuing their studies abroad. In terms of professional certifications, 79 employees successfully obtained certifications across various disciplines, while 49 others are continuing their pursuit of additional qualifications.
The Bank follows a clear and structured approach to selecting talents who contribute to its continued success. It offers induction and development programmes for graduates, including a two-year development programme designed for high-potential individuals, preparing them to assume future leadership roles across various areas of banking.
