MUSCAT – Oman has played a positive role in mitigating the impact of ongoing geopolitical tensions on aviation and port operations across the region, according to His Excellency Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali.
Al Maawali said the Sultanate has focused on ensuring the continuity of supply chains and logistics flows, while facilitating air traffic movement for passengers by increasing flight frequencies and accommodating a higher volume of commercial and private aircraft.
The minister added that Oman’s coordinated efforts have helped maintain operational stability in key sectors despite disruptions affecting regional airspace and maritime routes.

He noted that authorities have taken proactive measures to support airlines, ports and logistics operators, enabling the smooth movement of goods and travellers through the Sultanate.
