WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh and stark warning to Iran as his self-imposed deadline for reopening the Strait of Hormuz approaches, suggesting that a decisive and potentially historic turning point could unfold within hours.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump warned of catastrophic consequences, stating that an entire civilisation could be at risk if tensions escalate further.
