Muscat: As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting national events and strengthening its presence across various community initiatives, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider, continues to play an active role as a key partner in supporting activities and programmes that contribute to community development and youth empowerment, particularly in the sports sector, which is witnessing notable growth at both local and international levels.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth honoured the bank in recognition of its support for sports activities and events, during the 2025 Sports Achievers Honouring Ceremony, held under the patronage H.E. Sheikh Al Fadhil bin Mohammed Al Harthi, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, and attended by a large number of officials from government and private entities. The award was received on behalf of the bank by Talib Saif Al Makhmari, Head of Community & Media Relations. This recognition reflects the strong strategic partnership between the bank and the Ministry, as well as the bank’s continued contributions to supporting Omani athletes and national teams that have achieved remarkable success across various competitions.

This recognition also highlights the vital role played by Bank Muscat in advancing the sports movement by contributing to the organization and success of initiatives that help develop the skills of Omani youth and motivate them to achieve further accomplishments. The bank supports programmes aimed at enhancing sports infrastructure and raising competitiveness.
