MUSCAT : The case involved a consumer who paid RO 1,400 for a travel programme, including ticket booking. The provider, however, failed to fulfil the service, closed its business premises, and became unreachable.
The court imposed a fine of RO 100 each on the establishment and its representative and ordered them to refund the full RO 1,400 to the consumer. The judgment also requires the defendants to cover the legal expenses associated with the case.
