Muscat: In a heartfelt and commendable gesture, the Pakistan Social Club (PSC) organized a special ceremony to honor Shahzad Khan, whose extraordinary act of bravery saved the lives of two Indian nationals who were trapped during recent flood conditions. Demonstrating exceptional courage and humanity, Shahzad Khan risked his own life to rescue the individuals, earning widespread admiration across the community.
The ceremony was attended by prominent members of the Pakistani community in Oman, including PSC Chairman Mohammad Nadeem Azeemi, General Secretary Kashif Ahmed Zaeem, Joint Secretary Mohammed Kaleem Akhtar, and well-known businessman Fahad Awais.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Nadeem Azeemi highly appreciated Shahzad Khan’s heroic efforts, describing his act as a shining example of selflessness and compassion. “Such actions reflect the true spirit of humanity and unity beyond national boundaries. We are proud to recognize Shahzad Khan for his bravery,” he stated. As a mark of honor, the Chairman announced a lifetime membership of Pakistan Social Club for Shahzad Khan.

General Secretary Kashif Ahmed Zaeem also praised the courage and determination displayed by Shahzad Khan. “In times of crisis, it is individuals like him who restore our faith in humanity. His fearless action is an inspiration for all of us,” he remarked. As a token of appreciation, he announced a cash prize in recognition of Shahzad Khan’s remarkable service.
Joint Secretary Mohammed Kaleem Akhtar, while addressing the gathering, highlighted the importance of promoting such values within the community. He stated, “Shahzad Khan has set a powerful example of courage, humanity, and responsibility. His actions remind us that saving a life is the greatest service one can offer. Pakistan Social Club is honored to recognize such a noble personality among us.”
The event was further graced by the presence of prominent businessman Fahad Awais, who also commended Shahzad Khan’s bravery and appreciated PSC for acknowledging such acts of heroism.
The ceremony concluded with a presentation of appreciation and heartfelt congratulations to Shahzad Khan, whose courageous act stands as a beacon of hope and humanity in challenging times.
