MUSCAT : Tiger Woods returned to competitive golf at the TGL Final in Florida, marking his first major appearance since a prolonged injury layoff. The 50-year-old competed against top players in the technology-driven league, which combines simulation with live play. Despite his team suffering a heavy defeat, his presence alone generated global interest in his comeback.
Woods, who has undergone several surgeries in recent years, expressed mixed feelings after the match. While acknowledging he is not yet at his physical peak, Woods emphasised his enduring passion for the game and hinted at a possible return to The Masters.
However, he acknowledged uncertainty due to the ongoing recovery challenges, leaving fans curious but cautious about his return to major championships.
