MUSCAT : In an advisory, the committee called on the public to remain indoors during hailstorms and avoid unnecessary movement, particularly driving during periods of heavy rainfall.
Residents were also advised to stay away from windows and open areas, and to park vehicles in safe, covered locations to minimize potential damage. Authorities recommended covering vehicles where possible and avoiding exposure to falling hailstones.
The committee highlighted the importance of following official instructions and safety guidelines issued by relevant authorities as unstable weather conditions continue across the country.
