NEW DELHI : New Delhi will host the internationally renowned Jahan-e-Khusro Sufi Music Festival, which will bring together artists and performers from around the world.

To be held from March 27 to 29 at the historic Purana Qila, the event remains one of the most important cultural celebrations celebrating Sufi traditions.

Founded by filmmaker and artist Muzaffar Ali, the festival is known for blending music, poetry and spirituality into a unique experience. It functions not only as a performance platform but also as a place for cultural dialogue, attracting scholars, musicians and audiences from diverse backgrounds.

Over the years, Jahan-e-Khusro has evolved into much more than just a music festival. It has become a celebration of mystical heritage, where traditional Sufi notions meet modern interpretations, creating a bridge between generations. The event also includes poetry readings, art performances and interactive cultural experiences that deepen the audience’s engagement with Sufi philosophy.

With its global participation and spiritual essence, the festival continues to strengthen India’s position as a hub of cultural exchange and artistic expression. As anticipation grows, this year’s edition is expected to draw larger audiences and provide an enriching experience that goes beyond entertainment, offering reflection, togetherness and a celebration of shared human values.
