MUSCAT — One person was killed and another injured after a fuel tanker overturned in Wilayat Al Amerat in Oman’s Muscat Governorate, authorities said on Sunday.
Oman’s Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said firefighting and rescue teams responded to the incident and worked to secure the site and contain leaking fuel from the tanker.
The accident resulted in one fatality and left another person injured, the authority said in a statement, without providing further details on the cause of the crash.

Images released by CDAA showed emergency crews spraying water to control the spill while recovery teams worked to clear the wreckage of the overturned vehicle.
