NEW DELHI : According to the latest operational update, both Air India and its low-cost arm, Air India Express, will continue scheduled services to major destinations such as Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Muscat in Oman.

A total of 16 scheduled flights will operate between India and Jeddah. Air India will run one return service each from Delhi and two return services from Mumbai, while Air India Express will operate an additional service from Hyderabad.

Operations to Muscat will also remain active, with Air India Express operating eight scheduled flights connecting Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai, and Kozhikode.

In addition to these scheduled services, the airlines will operate 26 non-scheduled (ad hoc) flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), subject to slot availability and prevailing operational conditions. These flights have been approved by both Indian and local regulatory authorities.

The UAE operations will cover key airports including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. Air India will operate ad hoc services from Delhi to Dubai, while Air India Express will connect multiple Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Lucknow, and Thiruvananthapuram, to various UAE destinations.

However, no scheduled or ad hoc services will operate to several West Asian destinations on the same day. These include Salalah in Oman, Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, as well as Bahrain, Doha (Qatar), Kuwait, and Tel Aviv (Israel), indicating continued partial suspension of services across the region.

The airlines stated that operations remain subject to evolving conditions, with a focus on maintaining essential connectivity while ensuring compliance with regulatory approvals and operational feasibility.
