MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has granted a special Royal pardon to a number of prisoners in the Sultanate on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr for the year 2026, according to a statement issued by the Royal Oman Police.
The pardon, a customary gesture marking the festive occasion, will benefit around 350 inmates convicted in various cases, including both Omani citizens and foreign nationals.
