BEIRUT : In a statement, the ministry reported that the initial toll from the raids includes six fatalities and 24 injuries, adding that body parts were recovered from the sites and efforts are underway to determine the identities of victims.
Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple strikes on Beirut, including raids targeting areas in the southern suburbs as well as Zoqaq al-Blat and Basta al-Tahta.
