JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia has announced that Eid Al Fitr will be observed on Friday, March 20, 2026, following the completion of 30 days of Ramadan.
Authorities said the Shawwal crescent moon was not sighted on Tuesday evening, prompting the continuation of fasting to complete the full lunar month. The moon-sighting committee later confirmed the start of Shawwal, marking the end of Ramadan in accordance with Islamic tradition.
