MUSCAT – The Ministry’s Directorate General of Maritime Affairs stated that all seafarers seeking to obtain or renew a seafarer’s medical fitness certificate must undergo examinations exclusively with physicians accredited by the Ministry.
Authorities warned that any medical reports or certificates issued by doctors not included on the approved list will be considered invalid. The Ministry provided the approved list of physicians online (https://t.co/4uOkdBX3ru) for reference.
