MUSCAT: Oman Air has announced the temporary cancellation of flights to several destinations due to ongoing regional airspace closures, while confirming that the rest of its network continues to operate as normal.

In a travel update issued on Monday to passengers, the airline said that despite operating additional services across its network, certain routes remain affected by the current regional situation.

As a result, Oman Air flights to and from Amman (AMM), Dubai (DXB), Bahrain (BAH), Doha (DOH), Dammam (DMM), Kuwait (KWI), Copenhagen (CPH), Baghdad (BGW), and Khasab (KHS) have been cancelled until March 31, 2026.

The airline advised passengers to manage or modify their bookings through its official website or the Oman Air mobile application.

“Oman Air flights continue to operate as normal, with additional services across our network. However, due to ongoing regional airspace closures, some routes remain temporarily affected,” the airline said.

The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions that have resulted in airspace restrictions across parts of the Middle East, affecting flight operations for several airlines in the region.
