MUSCAT – Under the new schedule, the market will close at 3 pm, with sessions as follows: Pre-Opening from 9:30 to 10:00 am, Continuous Trading from 10 am to 2:45 pm, Pre-Closing from 2:45 to 2:55 pm, and Trading at Closing Price from 2:55 to 3:00 pm.
MSX said the extension will help align trading hours with regional and global markets, attract a broader base of foreign investors, and allow market participants more time to respond to local, regional, and international news.
The exchange described the move as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the trading environment, improve operational infrastructure, and support higher levels of market activity.
