MUSCAT – In a video message posted on the embassy’s official X platform, Her Excellency Dr. Saunders underscored that her primary responsibility remains the “safety and security” of British citizens during what she described as “difficult times in the Gulf region.”
Speaking in Arabic, the ambassador commended the support of His Excellency Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their cooperation and assistance.
She also thanked Oman Airports, Oman Air and Transom Handling for supporting the successful departure of three aircraft carrying British nationals from Oman to the United Kingdom last week.
