RIYADH : The report said the aircraft were hit during a missile attack targeting the Saudi military installation, which hosts U.S. forces. Despite the impact, the planes were not completely destroyed and are currently undergoing repairs.
Officials confirmed that the refueling aircraft sustained damage while stationed on the ground at the base. However, the strikes did not result in any casualties.
Prince Sultan Air Base, located south of the Saudi capital Riyadh, has served as a key operational hub for U.S. military activities in the region.
