MUSCAT : Omani authorities have shot down a drone that entered the airspace over the Wilayat of Khasab in Musandam Governorate, a security source confirmed on Thursday.
According to the source, the unmanned aerial vehicle was intercepted and brought down without causing any human or material losses.
Officials said the relevant authorities are continuing their efforts across all sectors to ensure the safety and security of the Sultanate, stressing that the situation remains under control.
