MANAMA – In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the General Command said the projectiles were neutralised by the country’s air defence systems as part of ongoing efforts to protect national security.

The force condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian facilities and private property, describing such actions as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.

These heinous and indiscriminate attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security, the statement said.
