MUSCAT : The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology reported that the figures indicate growing public reliance on digital channels for government services.
The portal now indexes over 3,200 services from 58 government entities and offers 80 integrated services from 10 entities on a single platform, enhancing access and efficiency. User satisfaction rates ranged between 83 percent and 94 percent, reflecting strong confidence in the digital services.
During its first year, the platform introduced several digital solutions, including a mobile application, a digital assistant for user inquiries, and the Government Services Challenge to stimulate innovation. Other initiatives included a government notifications service, unified digital mail, and a visual library in sign language, demonstrating efforts to promote digital inclusion.
The portal forms part of Oman Vision 2040, aimed at advancing government digital transformation by unifying standards, improving integration among institutions, enabling data-driven decision-making, and adopting international best practices in e-government.
Officials said the first year marks a foundational milestone, with plans to expand service integration, develop new digital solutions, and leverage emerging technologies to improve government efficiency and service quality.
