MUSCAT : The PSC Ramadan Cricket Tournament witnessed two exciting semi-final clashes on Friday as Meerath Boushat and Asfandyar XI secured their places in the grand finale, delighting a large crowd of cricket fans.
In the first semi-final, Meerath Boushat won the toss and elected to bowl against Horizon Cosmos. The bowlers delivered a disciplined performance, restricting Horizon Cosmos to 85 runs.




Chasing a modest target, Meerath Boushat comfortably reached the total, losing just one wicket. Hussain played a key role in the victory, scoring 36 runs with three sixes and two fours. His impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award, presented by Chawdhry Abbas.

The second semi-final saw Asfandyar XI win the toss and choose to bat against AR Roshni XI, a team that travelled from Barka to compete in the tournament.
Batting first, Asfandyar XI posted a strong total thanks to a sensational innings from Abrar, who smashed 74 runs off just 26 balls, including eight sixes and two fours. Abrar also contributed in the field with two brilliant catches, securing the Man of the Match award.
In reply, AR Roshni XI struggled to build momentum and eventually lost the match by 65 runs, sending Asfandyar XI into the final.
The grand finale of the PSC Ramadan Cricket Tournament will be played on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 9:00 PM.
H.E. the Ambassador of Pakistan will attend the final as the Chief Guest, while Paul Robert Sheidan, Vice Chairman of the Oman Cricket Board, will be the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Kaleem Akhtar, Director of Sports at PSC, along with Chief Coordinator Syed Jameel Zaidi, expressed their gratitude to all 32 participating teams for making the tournament a grand success.
