New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has praised India head coach Gautam Gambhir for supporting Sanju Samson during the ongoing T20 World Cup campaign.
Samson’s inclusion in the eleven initially raised questions, but the keeper-batsman silenced his critics with a series of impressive performances for India in the tournament.
Akhtar said Gambhir’s support played an important role in boosting Samson’s confidence and enabling him to showcase his talent on the international stage.
