MUSCAT – The ROP stated that its Coast Guard units apprehended the five individuals while they were attempting to enter Omani territorial waters illegally.
Police said the operation was carried out by Coast Guard boats led by Dhofar Governorate Police, which seized the vessel and discovered a quantity of drugs intended for smuggling and trafficking.
Legal procedures are currently underway against them.
