MUSCAT : The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) has appointed Nedhal Al Humeid as Chief Governance Officer (CGO), strengthening the exchange’s leadership team as it continues to advance governance and regulatory frameworks within Oman’s capital markets.
In a statement, MSX said Nedhal brings more than 23 years of experience in the capital market sector, with extensive leadership expertise spanning information technology, central securities depository (CSD) operations, research and development, and project management.
Prior to her appointment as CGO, Nedhal served as Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance, where she played a key role in strengthening regulatory oversight, operational risk management and compliance systems within the organisation.

Her appointment comes as the exchange continues to enhance transparency, governance standards and investor confidence in line with the Sultanate’s broader financial sector development strategy.
Nedhal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. MSX said her background combines strategic business acumen with strong technical expertise, positioning her to support the exchange’s ongoing digital and governance transformation initiatives.
