TEHRAN : In a statement carried by the Fars news agency, IRGC Navy official Mohammad Akbarzadeh said: “Currently, the Strait of Hormuz is under the complete control of the Islamic Republic’s Navy.”
The declaration comes as military tensions intensify across the region, raising fresh concerns over the security of one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints.
